In keeping with the Crown's doctrine of peaceful engagement, His Imperial Majesty Brendan Smith I has caused letters of inquiry to be sent to embassy contacts of the Arab Republic of Egypt and of the Republic of the Sudan.
The letters inform both governments of the foundation of the Sovereign Empire of Brendania and of the Empire's wish to conduct its relations with its neighbors by correspondence and in good faith.
Replies from either government will be entered in the Imperial Chronicle with their date.
